Forty years ago, while receiving all the riches of my French masters, and working on American films shooting in Paris, I knew that one day I would be exactly where I am today, giving back to a new generation of filmmakers all the benefits of my long career. My ambition is to help them free themselves of all the doubts and anxieties that do not belong to the legitimate anguish of an artist.
